The Italian brand Paul & Shark was founded in 1975 as part of the Dini family's textile factory. With their first ready-to-wear collection, the founders targeted a very specific audience, one to which they belonged themselves: yachtsmen and lovers of active water activities.
The purpose of Paul & Shark clothing defines both its appearance and functionality. Having pioneered the use of technologically advanced fabrics with water- and windproof properties, the brand's team now utilizes the best modern eco-friendly technologies, such as 100% recycled Seaqual® polyester yarn and Econyl® nylon made from recycled fishing nets.
The collection's design is also inspired by sailing and nautical aesthetics. White, red, and navy blue predominate, while stripes are the most common print.
